Lithium silicate, also known as lithium water glass, is a colorless, odorless, transparent weakly alkaline liquid with a pH value between 11-12. The relative density and viscosity vary depending on the product model, with a relative density between 1.16-1.2 (20°C). Liquid lithium silicate is soluble in water and alkaline liquids, insoluble in alcohols and organic solvents, and reacts with acids to release gels. It has self-drying properties; after the solution evaporates, it can form a dry film insoluble in water, which is irreversible to water.

Lithium silicate has a wide range of uses, such as producing concrete hardeners, used in industrial flooring, electronics, pharmaceutical workshops, large supermarkets, parking lots, and other locations; Manufacturing inorganic coatings can be used in offshore engineering, oil pipelines, ships, bridges, and building materials.
